Geography

 With an area of 1,126,829 kms² , the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia is the 27th largest country in the world and the 2nd largest country in the  African continent. The country has a high central plateau that varies from 1,290 to 3,000 meters above sea level .It is located in the Horn of Africa, and is bordered on the north and north east by Eritrea, on the east by Djibouti and Somalia, on the south by Kenya, on the north west by Sudan and on the south west by South Sudan.
