The Ethiopian Catholic Church Pastoral Seminar is officially opened

The Ethiopian Catholic Church Pastoral seminar, organized by The Pastoral Coordination of ECS is taking place on Mar. 10 and 11/ 2010 at the Catholic Bishop Conference Center of Ethiopia.

The seminar has a honour of the attendance and apostolic remark of H.G Abune Berhaneyesus, Metropolitan Archbishop, H.E Abune Markos, Apostolic Vicar of Jimma Bonga and Rev. Abba H/Gabriel Meleku (Dr.) Deputy Secretary General of ECS and National Pastoral Coordinator.

Pastoral Coordinators of the Diocesan Secretariats, Conference of Major Religious Superiors of the Ethiopian Catholic Church (CMRS), Ethiopian National Laity Council, Different Pastoral Laity Associations, Parish Priests Council of Addis Ababa, Our Lady Priests Association of Ethiopia, The Pontifical Mission Societies, and many other Church institutions’ coordinators and representatives participated on the seminar.

The seminar is Expected to discuss various Issues like the Structure of the Ethiopian Catholic Secretariat, Experiences of the Ethiopian Catholic Church Pastoral Activities, Challenges of the Pastoral Activities of the Ethiopian Catholic Church, Building the Youth in God’s Word. Reports and Future plans are also expected to be heard and designed.
