Contemplative Missionary Movement of Fr. De
Faucauld Contemplative Missionary Movement of Fr. De Faucauld
In the spirit of Fr. Charles de
Foucauld the sisters give free service in village communities. They live
very simply and depend entirely on Divine Providence. In the village of Gambo, Kofole, they give shelter and care to TB patients, and co-operate in the leprosy village. Since 2002 a fraternity of sisters is present on the outskirts of Shashemene near village inhabited by leprosy patients. The sisters cooperate in the social development and spiritual care of the villagers, i.e. leprosy patients. They run a feeding center for undernourished children.
