In the spirit of Fr. Charles de
Foucauld the sisters give free service in village communities. They live
very simply and depend entirely on Divine Providence.
They have been present in Ethiopia for 23 years, i.e since 1980. In the
village of Alert, Addis Ababa they have a residence for 18 poor patients
taking treatment at Alert Hospital, and a feeding centre for children of
the villages (1-6 years). In the village of Gambo they give shelter and
care to TB patients, and co-operate in the leprosy village.
