Congregation of Sisters of Charity Congregation of Sisters of Charity, CSC
The Congregation of the Sisters of Charity (CSC)
was founded on 21st November 1944 by the late Rev. Fr. Augustine John
Ukken, with the approval of Rt. Rev. Dr. George Alappat , Bishop of Thrissur, Kerala. The founder father distinguished for his personal
holiness and love for the poor and inspired by the spirit and apostolic
activities of St. Vincent De Paul, founded this congregation with a view
to undertake charitable activities for the development of the poor and the
need, which was a pressing need of the time.
